You are invited to this historic Oshtemo United Methodist Church, which is built on the foundation of a loving God. We know that everyone is a blessed child of God, wonderfully made, and one in whom God is well pleased. This means that all persons, without regard to race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship, ability, national origin, status or economic condition are of sacred worth, celebrated, and welcomed fully into every aspect of the church’s life. OUR VISION

Our purpose is to spread and share the word of God by serving and supporting God’s family through worship, a state of faithfulness, and spiritual life.

CHURCH HISTORY

The present church building was begun in 1861 and completed in the winter of 1862. Six families mortgaged their property so the church would not have a debt.
